What kind of business do you run, and who do you help?

I work with somatic trauma release, nervous system healing, and I create transformative guided meditations. I help self-aware, high-functioning feelers move from contraction to expansion (physically, mentally, and emotionally). You could say I help people who’ve been stuck in survival mode finally feel safe in their body again. And when that happens, something shifts: the body softens, energy expands, and life begins to open in unexpected ways. Everything expands.

What were you using before Movement, and what wasn't working?

Before creating my own app RealEase, I was selling meditations on Etsy, publishing guided sessions and courses on Insight Timer, and offering 1:1 sessions in person. But I wanted to bring everything under one roof: a single platform where people could access my audio library, courses, and also book virtual private sessions. I had never had my own branded app before, but I explored many platforms and solutions. When I found Movement, I knew right away it was the perfect fit to build what I had envisioned.

What stood out to you about Movement compared to other options? 

What stood out right away was how easy it is to build with. I’ve always loved drag-and-drop systems. That’s how I’ve built all my websites too. I want full access and flexibility with my platform, so I can make changes anytime without needing to contact a developer. I also really appreciate how responsive the customer support is. While Movement doesn’t yet have every function I’d love to see and there are occasional bugs, they act quickly and take feedback seriously, and that makes a big difference.

What changed for your business after switching to Movement?

I’m still in the process of building and expanding my app, but I’ve already done a soft launch with my founding members, and I can clearly see the difference it’s making. Movement gives me the ability to bring everything I create under one roof: meditations, courses, audio series, and even private sessions. It’s allowing me to build a membership-based business, reach more people, and manage everything with much more ease. Even in these early stages, it’s made my workflow more efficient, and I finally feel like I have a home for all the pieces of my work to come together.

What would you say to another coach who's considering switching to Movement?

Just give it a go. Start with the free version, play around with it, and see what you can create. That’s exactly what I did for a couple of months. No pressure, just exploring. Once things started coming together, I sent a newsletter to my community inviting early supporters to join as founding members. I offered them lifetime access for a one-time fee, and in return, they got early access and a chance to help shape the app with their feedback. It turned out to be a beautiful way to find out who my most supportive customers were and now they feel even more connected to the journey. It gave me both the momentum and funding to keep building before a full public launch.
