How Rae went from PDF programs to her own branded pregnancy & postpartum fitness app

Rae is a certified personal trainer specializing in pre/postnatal fitness—a path shaped not just by her credentials, but by her own four pregnancies and a lesson she learned the hard way.

During her first pregnancy in 2018, Rae continued weightlifting right up until she gave birth. It contributed to a smooth pregnancy and recovery, but it also left her with an umbilical hernia and mild bladder prolapse—complications she later discovered were linked to not knowing how to breathe and engage her core and pelvic floor correctly while exercising. "I didn't even know what a pelvic floor was," she shares.

That experience changed everything. By her second pregnancy, Rae had discovered pre/postnatal fitness certifications and threw herself into learning. What she found not only protected her own body, it ignited a passion she's never looked back from.

Now a mother of four and a specialist in the postpartum training field, Rae built Train with Rae to make sure other women never have to learn these lessons the hard way.




Can you tell us about our business and who you help?

I work with women who want to stay active through pregnancy and postpartum—not just to feel good, but to do it safely and with real confidence. My programs are built around the education and technique that make all the difference: proper breathing, core connection, pelvic floor awareness. The things I had to learn the hard way, so my clients don't have to.

Having gone through four active pregnancies, three of which I was able to apply my pre/postnatal expertise, I feel extremely confident in my ability to guide other women through their journeys. It's not something I take lightly.

What problem were you facing before using Movement?

I was originally creating PDF programs, but formatting became extremely time consuming and made making updates to the program a grueling process. It took forever to get those updates out to my users!

I knew I wanted to be able to create an app to not only be more user friendly for my clients, but for me to be able to get more content, and more up-to-date content, to them at a faster, more current pace.
