Dr. Annie Linville is a pelvic floor physical therapist in Charlotte, NC, helping active women reconnect and rebuild during pregnancy and postpartum. Beyond treating patients in person, Annie creates digital programs so women everywhere can access expert pelvic health guidance—learning how their bodies work, moving confidently, and feeling strong again.

Before finding Movement, Annie hosted her courses directly on her website, where clients needed computers, struggled with separate logins, and couldn't easily pick up where they left off. For someone whose mission is reducing barriers to movement, the clunky user experience was working against what she stood for.

With Movement, Annie built her first mobile app—and it was surprisingly simple. Now her clients can access pregnancy and postpartum programs right on their phones, navigate effortlessly, and pick up exactly where they left off. She's created an all-in-one hub where clients choose the programs that fit their current needs, and is freed up to focus on delivering additional value and support.

Can you tell us about our business and who you help?

My name is Annie Linville, I am a pelvic floor physical therapist helping active women reconnect and rebuild during pregnancy and postpartum. In addition to treating patients in-person in Charlotte, NC, I love creating digital programs for people to access this information all across the world.

I love helping women understand how their bodies actually work, giving them the tools to move better, lift confidently, and feel strong again—not just for workouts, but for life.

"I love seeing these women find confidence through heavy lifting and cheering each other on inside of the app."

What problem were you facing before using Movement?

Before using Movement, I hosted my first program directly on my website. It wasn't very user-friendly—clients needed a computer, a separate login, and it was hard to pick up where they left off.

Since switching to Movement, everything feels seamless. My clients love the app. It's simple to navigate, easy to open, and they can jump right back into their workouts without friction. That accessibility matters. The easier it is to start, the lower the barrier to movement—and reducing that barrier is always a top priority for me.

What made you choose Movement over other platforms? Did you try any others?

Movement is the first app-based platform I've used, and once I got familiar with the system, it was surprisingly easy to build out my programs. The backend makes it simple to plug in all the necessary information, resources, and exercises to create a cohesive course.

I especially appreciated how customizable it is—I was able to incorporate my branding and tailor the interface to feel aligned with my business, whether I wanted a more detailed layout or a streamlined design.

How has Movement helped you grow, simplify, or scale?

Using this platform has allowed me to create a centralized hub for all of my programming. Clients can easily browse available options and choose what best fits their needs. It also gives them a clear path forward, showing what programs they can progress into once they complete their current plan.

Having everything organized in one place has made the experience seamless for both my clients and me.

What features or aspects of Movement have been most useful for your work?

It's incredibly easy to plug and play content, which makes building pages and workouts simple and seamless. Everything displays cleanly without requiring extra formatting or backend work.

I no longer have to spend unnecessary time managing the technical side of a website—which used to take up far more time than it should have.

Would you recommend Movement to other coaches and creators?

I would absolutely recommend Movement to anyone who wants to create programs or courses and share them with the world without the hassle of coding or building an app from scratch. The platform offers so many features that make it easy to turn your ideas into a clear, organized experience.

It simplifies the entire process and allows you to focus on delivering real value to your clients rather than getting stuck in the technical details.

Dr. Annie Linville's journey shows exactly what pelvic floor physical therapists and women's health experts need when scaling their practices digitally: a mobile-first platform that reduces friction for clients and their community. After experiencing firsthand how a clunky website interface created barriers for the women who needed it, Annie built a seamless pelvic health app with Movement.

Now, her pregnancy and postpartum programs and courses are accessible on clients' phones with easy navigation, progress tracking, and a branded experience that mirrors her practice. She went from managing technical website details to focusing entirely on delivering value to active women rebuilding strength during and after pregnancy.

For pelvic floor PTs, women's health physiotherapists, or any healthcare professional wanting to make their programs truly accessible beyond in-person sessions, Annie's approach proves it's possible to build a mobile-first platform without technical expertise. As she puts it: "It simplifies the entire process and allows you to focus on delivering real value to your clients rather than getting stuck in the technical details."
