How physiotherapist Ana Galeote doubled retention by switching from TrainHeroic to Movement

Ana Galeote is a physiotherapist and movement educator who created PhysioWods to help people reconnect with their bodies and move without pain. After years in clinical settings treating injuries one-on-one, she realized most people aren't hurt from single accidents—they've slowly lost their capacity to move well through sedentary lifestyles. Through PhysioWods, she teaches mobility, strength, and body awareness so people can take an active role in their health and move freely again.

But for years, delivering that methodology online meant compromising. Ana was using TrainHeroic, which worked for programming workouts but couldn't support the educational side of her work—the videos, resources, and teaching materials that help people understand why they're moving, not just how. Everything lived in different places, creating a disconnected experience that didn't reflect what PhysioWods actually offers.

When she found Movement, she finally had a platform flexible enough to match her vision: programs, education, and community all in one branded space. And with the platform available in Spanish, she could finally give her Spanish-speaking audience an accessible experience other tools couldn't match.

Since making the switch, PhysioWods retention jumped from around 30% to nearly 60%—proof that the platform experience matters as much as the content itself.

Can you tell us about our business and who you help?

I’m a physiotherapist and movement educator, and I created PhysioWods to help people reconnect with their bodies and move without pain.

For years, I worked in traditional clinical settings treating injuries one person at a time. What I realized very quickly is that many people are not injured because of a single accident, but because they have slowly lost their capacity to move well. Modern lifestyles make us sedentary, stiff, and disconnected from our bodies.

Through PhysioWods, I teach people how to restore that capacity. My work focuses on mobility, strength, and body awareness so people can take an active role in their own health.

Our community includes athletes, everyday people who want to stay active, and also people dealing with pain or recovering from injuries. The goal is always the same: give people the tools to understand their body and build resilience so they can move freely again.

What makes me passionate about this work is seeing people rediscover confidence in their bodies. When someone goes from living with pain and fear of movement to feeling strong and capable again, it changes much more than their physical health, it changes their relationship with life itself.

What problem were you facing before using Movement?

Before using Movement, I was using TrainHeroic. It worked well for delivering training programs, but it had important limitations for my type of work.

I couldn’t really create a fully branded experience for my community, and it was difficult to integrate additional resources like educational content, videos, and other materials that help people understand their bodies and the purpose behind the exercises.

My work is not only about giving people workouts, it’s about teaching them how their body works and helping them build long-term habits. So having everything in different places made the experience more fragmented for users.

With Movement, everything is now in one place. The platform allows me to organize programs, educational resources, and communication in a much clearer way. This has improved the overall user experience and has had a positive impact on engagement and retention within the community.

What made you choose Movement over other platforms? Did you try any others?

One of the main reasons I chose Movement was the ability to create a fully branded experience for my community.

I had previously used other platforms, but most of them were designed mainly for delivering workouts and didn’t allow much flexibility beyond that. What stood out to me with Movement was the possibility to adapt the platform to my specific needs and the type of content I create.

My work combines training, education, and rehabilitation, so I needed a platform that allowed me to organize programs, resources, and communication in a way that made sense for my audience.

The pricing was also very reasonable compared to other options, especially considering the level of customization and branding it offers. Overall, Movement felt like the first platform that truly allowed me to build an environment that reflects my brand and the experience I want my community to have.

How has Movement helped you grow, simplify, or scale?

One of the biggest improvements we’ve seen is in retention. Since moving to Movement, our renewal rate has increased from around 30% to nearly 60%, which has been a very meaningful change for our business.

What features or aspects of Movement have been most useful for your work?

One of the most useful aspects of Movement for my work is the flexibility across devices. My community can access the platform from their computer, iPad, or mobile phone, which makes it much easier for them to follow the programs consistently.

Another important feature for us is that the platform is available in Spanish, since most of our audience is Spanish-speaking. This makes the experience much more accessible and natural for our members.

I also really value the ability to include direct access to events within the platform. It allows us to organize live sessions and other community activities in a simple way, keeping everything connected in one place.

What would you tell another coach or creator considering Movement?

Honestly, I’d say don’t overthink it, it’s worth it.

If you have an idea that can genuinely help people, Movement gives you the tools to turn that idea into something real and accessible for your community.

What I really appreciate is that the platform is simple to use, flexible, and allows you to build something that truly reflects your work and your brand. And the technical team is always willing to help. Whenever we’ve had questions or needed support, they’ve been responsive and very helpful, which makes a big difference when you’re building something.

If you’re a coach or creator who wants to share knowledge and help people at scale, Movement is a great place to do it.

Ana's story proves that when your work goes beyond simple exercise programming, you need a platform that can keep up. PhysioWods isn't just delivering workouts—her members are learning how their bodies work, understanding movement patterns, building resilience, and recovering from chronic pain. That requires more than workout templates; it requires educational content, context around exercises, and community support all working together in one place.

Movement gave Ana what TrainHeroic couldn't: the ability to organize her complete methodology—training programs alongside educational resources and rehabilitation guidance—not force it into a workout-only template. The impact showed up immediately in her retention numbers—from 30% to 60%—which validates that her community finally had the cohesive experience they needed.

For physiotherapists, movement educators, rehab specialists, or anyone teaching a system that combines training and movement with education, the lesson is clear: you need a platform that supports your methodology, not limits it. As Ana puts it: "If you have an idea that can genuinely help people, Movement gives you the tools to turn that idea into something real and accessible for your community."
